About Dama Yoga
DAMA means HOME in Sanskrit
DAMA yoga has come into existence to share and teach the lessons of yoga in hopes to inspire your life for the better. This mental, physical and spiritual practice offers incredible healing capabilities and we want to share them with you. A yoga practice can start on the mat however we encourage you to bring these lessons in your day-to- day life to invite more love and calmness into your world. The word dama means home in Sanskrit. When entering our studio or within the presence of our teachers, we want you to feel right at home.
Our studio boasts state of the art heating panels specifically designed for hot yoga. Our classes are set at 37° celcius, the temperature of the human body. Hot yoga also replicates the heat of India where yoga originated.
Our studio has space for up to 58 mats, so there’s always room for you to get into the community spirit and deepen your pratice with your fellow yogis.
We have online class sign up and online membership sign up using our free App, for both iOS and Android phone systems. You can also sign in on your computer online, and check on the status of your membership and look at up to date schedules.
Our studio also offers clean and spacious changing rooms with showers and lockers. Stay a little longer after your class and enjoy the relaxed setting of our lounge area. Sit back on the large sofas, grab a book from our yoga library and sip on fresh brewed tea.
